The 3rd AR.Drone contest was held on March 8th at Kyoto Research Park. This event is a part of the Spring Design School held by “Collaborative Graduate Program in Design”. The objective of the contest is to develop a program that autonomously and accurately controls quadcopter AR.Drone to visit all AR markers within a time limit. For the first time this year, the contest is held in a week-long hackathon style, providing test flight course at the presentaion stage of Fab-Lab in Yoshida Campus. More than 20 participants from EE and CS faculties enjoyed the contest a lot.
From our group, Prof. Sato and Prof. Hiromoto served as contest organizers, and Oni and Konishi joined as TA.
